While the PJIP has no major overheads and will continue to host its current resources indefinitely, those resources require regular maintenance. In this context, obsolete data is about as useful as waterproof teabags. There are also areas where the project’s resources could be developed, new features created, and novel data collected. But carrying out these endeavours demands considerable effort.

​At present, all work has been completed pro bono by the project’s sole director, but the continued long-term operational burdens will require external support. ​ADVERTISING

Since this site's launch in early 2024, it has been visited by thousands of users. Monetising the site’s traffic will provide a reliable stream of revenue to cover hosting costs with little interference to user experience, ensuring the site remains operational and accessible for everyone. 

GRANTS

The PJIP will be making several grant applications in 2024. As most project funding schemes make one-off payments, any success here will be used to fund the development of new resources and features. I'd appreciate being made aware of any appropriate funding schemes.

We may allow users and organisations to make entirely discretionary donations. If this is implemented, the project will be registered in the UK as a 'Community interest company'; a recognised social enterprise that operates to provide a benefit to the philosophical community.
