Providing data to the PJIP

Most PJIP data is collected directly from journal websites. However, editors/publishers are also welcome to send relevant information to [email protected].

Journals are generally required to be indexed in Scopus. This is because 1) we present ranking metrics based on Scopus data (SJR, SNIP), and 2) Scopus indexing indicates that a journal meets a recognised minimum standard of quality.

All journals indexed in the PJIP are subject to ongoing internal monitoring for signs of research integrity issues and will be removed if found to be publishing content likely to distort the academic record.

Adding a journal to the PJIP database, which receives over 25,000 views per month, increases its visibility, signals a commitment to transparency, and helps authors, funders, and institutions more easily understand your journal’s policies and performance.
