Some Psychology journals have dedicated pages that provide key information about their operations, such as acceptance rates, response times, and other relevant metrics. While journals under the same publisher often follow a similar format for displaying these statistics, there is little consistency across the field. The location of these pages, the metrics provided, and even the methods of calculation can vary significantly. This lack of standardisation can make it challenging for researchers to compare journals effectively.
Some philosophy journals have dedicated pages to display information about their acceptance rates, response times, etc. While the location of these pages is often similar for journals with the same publisher, beyond this there is little consensus regarding where journal statistics are displayed; nor is it clear what metrics you'll find, nor even if they are calculated in the same way (i.e. Springer journals display median for review times, while most others tend to use mean averages).
